Trash

A Trashy Problem

Bebot: Kind of like a Roomba for the beach. See how robots are helping clean our beaches and raising environmental awareness.

Are you a scientist? No? Would you like to be? Or maybe you’d like to help your community be healthier and cleaner. See how it’s done.

America’s love affair with plastics started decades ago. But wrapping everything in plastic has a dark side. It doesn’t just go away after we’re done with it. It doesn’t break apart naturally and helps the environment. Instead, plastics clog up landfills and float on ocean water. What’s the solution?

It pays to pick up trash! In some places better than others. A look at garbage money.

Work retention. It’s simple. Pay your employees, and they’ll stick around. Well, not so fast. Many sanitation workers are leaving their jobs, which leaves trash on the streets and companies scratching their heads. That’s where creativity comes into play.
